This summer 2027 at Voart we are offering 2 hour morning pottery workshops, and 1.5 hour afternoon drawing workshops where children can get creative with clay or drawing. Also an ALL DAY option with minding. All materials are included for your convenience.

Monday 18th Jan 1-2:30pm - Draw a dragon in soft pastel
Tuesday 19th Jan 9:30-11:30am - Pottery wheel throwing a pencil holder
Tuesday 20th Jan 1-2:30pm -Draw a jetty in charcoal
Wednesday 21st Jan 9:30-11:30am - Pottery wheel throwing a vase
Wednesday 22nd Jan 1-2:30pm - Draw three mini matching street silhouettes in soft pastel
Thursday 9th Jan 9:30-11:30am - Pottery wheel throwing a hanging plant pot
Thursday 9th Jan 1-2:30pm - Draw a garden collage
Friday 10th Jan 9:30-11:30am - Pottery wheel throwing a pressed leaf key ring bowl
Friday 10th Jan 1-2:30pm - Draw the Pusheen cat in cute outfits

Beginner-friendly
Pottery runs for 2 hours
Drawing runs for 1.5 hours

Workshop prices:
$55 AM pottery wheel throwing 2 hours
$45 PM drawing 1.5 hours
$145 All Day (both classes plus 2.5 hours child minding in between sessions) 9am to 3pm.
Optional Add-ons: + $38 Colour glazing for clay. Pay a little extra to come back in 4 weeks (after first firing) and get taught how to glaze in colours of your choosing. You can add this option to your cart when you book or after the workshop on the day.
Alternatively, you can paint the outside of your pottery at home (after first bisque firing) with acrylic paint and then with clear sealer.
What to bring: If attending All day please provide your child with allergy safe lunch. Wear comfortable dangle-free clothing, flat sensible shoes. All materials and tools provided. Pick up you pottery 8 weeks after your session time.
Please note: If minimum group size of 3 people haven't been filled the booking, it will run in the next course date.
Morning clay sessions - please make sure to collect your bisque fired clay masterpieces in-between Tuesday 12th February to Friday 12th February 3:30pm to 6pm. or Saturday 13th February 11am-1pm. If you cannot make these times please contact Violetta at Voart Studio.
Afternoon drawing sessions - Please take home your artworks on the day created.
Workshops require a minimum 3 children. If minimum number is not reached, we will arrange to place your child into a similar workshop or issue a Full Credit.
