After school if your kids are keen to have a go at hand building clay, these pottery sessions are for them!
Kids can have a go at making fun objects such as a mug, animal coin box, planter, ceramic fruits bowl and miniature figurines. The course is run over a school term. Terms are prorated as the weeks go by, so you can join at anytime in the term if you wish. We’ll learn to knead clay, create shapes, arrange objects into functional pieces, using techniques such as coil, slab roll, pinch pot; then engrave, trim, and decortate our creations.
Works out to be $29 per class (select this option plus any add ons)
Clay, use of tools, and equipment is included.
Add ons:
Firing is additional $10 per item.
Glazing is an additional $38 for up to 4 items made during these classes.
For ages 8 and up. Non refundable. If a child is unable to attend, one makeup session is provided within the term dates, on a different day this class is run.
